Frequently Asked Questions

Can you pick me up from my hotel? All our coach tours offer pickups from all CBD accommodation. If you are not staying in the CBD we do a general pickup at the Tourist Coach Stand in Wellington St., Perth City at 9.45am (Please be there 10 mins prior). This is on street level of the Bus Station and near the corner of William & Queen Sts.

Where is the Tourist Coach Stand Wellington Street Perth Western Australia

River Cruise tour please meet at the Captain Cook office at Barrack St Jetty at 9.30am. We do offer pickups at CBD hotels, but some are very early as pickups start at 8am. Please remember to ask for a pickup when booking your tour.

Do you pickup outside the CBD?

We can pickup along the Great Eastern Highway, Guildford Rd and Guildford Train Station.

Do you pickup in the Swan Valley?

If you are staying in the Swan Valley we can pick you up at the Swan Valley Visitors Centre in Guildford for the coach tours only. Swan Taxis on 13 13 30 can transfer you to the Visitors Centre for a minimal cost.

What time do we get back to the city?

All our day tours return to the city around 5pm.

How many people on the bus?

Our coaches sit either 13, 19 or 24 passengers. We charter in larger coaches for our group bookings.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

Vegetarians and other dietary requirement are all catered for as all as you mention this when booking your tour.

What should I wear?

Day tours - casual and Evening tours - smart casual.

How far is the Swan Valley?

On the coach 30 mins and on the river cruise 1 1/2 hours.

Do you offer concessions?

Sorry no concessions as our tours are very good value already.

Can I drink or eat on the bus?

It is illegal to consume alcohol in a moving vehicle in the State of Western Australia and in accordance with this we do not permit alcohol to be consumed on our vehicles but we strongly encourage the consumption of water. Government legislation prohibits the consumption of food on a public bus and no food on any of our vehicles will be appreciated

What if the weather is bad?

Our tours operate regardless of weather conditions. You will find the Swan Valley has a different atmosphere in every season and winter can be wonderfully cosy in the warm cellar doors, most with lovely wood fires blazing.
