The Munda Biddi off- road trail is fast becoming recognised around the world as Western Australia`s world-class off-road cycling experience. There are not many places in the world where a 900-kilometre cycle track could be built through a semi-undeveloped natural corridor. With Western Australia's vast areas of forests and bushland, gentle terrain, and year-round cycling weather,this gives any cycling entusas an ideal setting for an off-road cycle experiance.

The Munda Biddi is a trail with something for everyone. There are sections of trail that will suit anyone's cycling ability and pace. The trail is easily accessible by car, so you can begin your journey wherever it is convenient. Different sections of the trail will be suitable for cyclists of all levels, with challenging loops and spurs to be added once the main trail is completed. And because the trail is completely off-road, you can enjoy the scenery while you safely cycle through the forest on the dirt track.

Imagine cycling through towering eucalyptus forests and unspoiled bushland. Discover plants and wildlife not found anywhere else in the world. Camp in shelters or stay in quaint country towns. Learn about Aboriginal culture ( Munda biddi means path through the forest) and the rich heritage of the region as you visit wineries and attractions of the South West corner of Western Australia.

The Munda Biddi Trail was designed for all mountain bike enthusiasts and recreational cyclists who are seeking a safe and enjoyable bush cycling experience.Starting in Sculpture Park, Mundaring, the trail uses a network of bush tracks and old railway lines from the days of logging to link cyclists with the many charming towns of the Southwest region there`s also plenty of forest attractions including the towns off Jarrahdale, Dwellingup, Logue Brook Dam, Collie and even old P.O.W camps like Balmoral. Each section of the trail is differant from the ever changing landscape to the vegatation that is unique to this part of the world even the rare Red-Tailed cockotoos are an amazing sight.

The first stage Mundaring to Collie (332kms ) is complete and the next stage is continuing Second stage Collie to Northcliffe the full lenght of the Cycle Trail will be 900 Kms all the way to Albany on the South coast.

The Munda Biddi Trail should not be taken for granted, preparation and care must be taken on all trips on the Munda Biddi trail.
