I have been diving for more than fifteen years in the Indian Ocean of Western Australia.
There are many different and spectacular dive spots here and I have witnessed some magnificent sea life.
Here are just a few amazing creatures I have dived with:
15m Southern Right Whales, 13m Humpback Whales, 12m Whale Sharks, 5m Great White Sharks, Pilot Whales, Dolphins, Dugongs, Sea Lions, Seals, 2.5m Queensland Grouper, Giant Potato Cods, Australian Giant Crabs, Giant Crayfish, Leafy Sea Dragons, Weedy Sea Dragons, Rockfish, Paper Rockfish, Frogfish, Barramundis, Sea Horses and all kinds of Boxfish.
I have seen large groups of Mantas, Whale Sharks, Southern Right Whales, Whales, Chinaman fish, schools of hundreds of Buffaro bream, thread fin Pearl Perches, colonies of Sealions and Seals.
Dive spots I have been to:
Ningaloo Reef, Coral Bay, Murion Island, Peak Island, Rowley Shoals, Dirk Hartog Island, Abrolhos Islands, Rottnest Island, Carnac Island, Garden Island, Rockingham, Busselton Jetty, Dunsborough, Albany and Esperance.
These are my favorites:
